Business School at the University if San Diego
Mike is on the faculty of the business school at USD, involved in various capacities.  The business school is committed to developing socially responsible leaders and improving global business practice through applied research and innovative, personalized education.  Mike teaches on two masters programs:


  • Masters of Executive Leadership (MSEL)
    The MSEL facilitates the development and mastery of key intrapersonal, interpersonal and organizational skills in real-world contexts to allow for maximum personal and organizational benefit.  Mike teaches In the Driving Seat® as part of the “Designing & Executing Organizational Strategy” course.
  • Masters of Global Leadership (MSGL)
    The MSGL focuses on dynamic leadership skills and global business practices, emphasizing cultural sensitivity in the political, cultural and economic arenas.  Mike teaches In the Driving Seat® as part of the “Leading Others:  Individuals, Teams & Organizations” course.


Chairmen’s Roundtable
Mike is a mentor with the Chairmen’s Roundtable (CRT) and is also on the Board.  CRT is a non-profit volunteer organization comprised of successful CEOs with diverse industry backgrounds who provide businesses in San Diego County with advice on how to manage and grow their businesses through a well-defined mentoring program. CRT members provide this service free of charge to qualified area businesses as a way of giving back to the community.
